FIRST CLASS SERVICES LIMITED (RC 9346954) is a company registered in Nigeria, with its registered office at Plot 34, East West Road, Rumudara, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.
For the information described in this policy, we are the data controller. That means we decide what is collected and what it is used for, and we are responsible for looking after it.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you send an enquiry through the contact form, we collect:
- Your name
- Your company or organisation name, if you give one
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- The service you selected
- Whatever you choose to write in the message box
If you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email instead, we hold whatever you send us by those means.
Information collected automatically
Our web server keeps standard access logs, which may include your IP address, browser type and the pages you requested. These are used to keep the site running and secure, not to build a profile of you.
To reduce automated spam, the contact form briefly records a technical identifier derived from your IP address and browser. It is deleted within minutes and is not used to identify you.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 we must have a lawful basis for using your information. Ours are:
- To respond to your enquiry — the basis is that you asked us to, and the processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To provide services you engage us for — the basis is performance of a contract.
- To keep records of enquiries and work — the basis is our legitimate interest in running the business properly, and in some cases a legal obligation to keep business records.
- To keep the website secure — the basis is our legitimate interest in preventing abuse and fraud.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling. We do not sell it, rent it, or trade it. We do not publish contact information you submit to us.
We will not send you marketing messages unless you have asked us to. If we ever do, every message will include a way to stop them.
Where your information is stored
Enquiries submitted through this website are stored in the website’s own database and are also sent to our company email address. We keep both copies so that an enquiry is not lost if an email fails to arrive.
Our website hosting and email services may be operated by providers with servers outside Nigeria. Where information is transferred outside Nigeria, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to a standard consistent with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only where it is necessary:
- With service providers who operate our website hosting and email systems, and who act on our instructions
- With professional advisers, such as accountants or lawyers, where required
- Where we are required to do so by law, a court, or a regulator
Where an enquiry relates to work involving a supplier or partner, we will only share your details with them with your knowledge.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to work — kept for up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Records relating to clients and projects — kept for the length of the engagement and for up to 6 years afterwards, to meet accounting, tax and contractual record-keeping requirements.
- Website access logs — kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting.
When a retention period ends, information is deleted or anonymised.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics or advertising scripts on it.
WordPress, the software this site runs on, may set a small number of strictly necessary cookies — for example if someone logs in to administer the site. These are required for the site to function and are not used to track visitors.
If we add analytics or embedded content in future, we will update this policy and ask for consent where the law requires it.
How we protect it
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including restricted access to the website’s administration area, encrypted connections where available, and keeping the website software up to date. No system is completely secure, but we take these obligations seriously and review them as the business grows.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you have the right to:

- Ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete

Children
This website is intended for businesses and organisations. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
